Cornerstone Relocation Group (CRG) is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Relocation Financce! The Director of Relocation Finance oversees and manages both the onshore Relocation Financial Administrator Team and offshore Expense Management Team. This role is accountable for the setup, maintenance, audit, and billing of all client service fees, while also ensuring the quality, timeliness, and accuracy of expense management and revenue recognition. The Director also leads the implementation of new contracts, fee models, policies, and SSAE 18 controls, contributing directly to financial performance and operational excellence.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team & Vendor Leadership

    • Build and lead a high-performing finance team, providing mentorship, training, and performance management.
    • Oversee day-to-day activities and quality delivery of our outsourced BPO vendor, ensuring alignment with SLAs and CRG standards.
    • Foster a collaborative environment with Operations, Account Directors, and external partners to streamline financial processes.

     

    Expense Management & Billing Execution

    • Ensure accurate and timely processing of expenses, client invoicing, and home sale final bill reconciliation.
    • Oversee the end-to-end service fee setup, triggering, and billing—ensuring alignment with contractual terms and revenue recognition policies.
    • Manage the billing of equity advances, pass-through costs, and service fees in line with CRG’s cash management goals.
    • Audit and verify client expenditures, expense reimbursements, and vendor invoices for accuracy and compliance.

     

    Reporting & Controls

    • Deliver high-quality reporting including Program Status Summaries, Annual Reviews, Payroll/Tax Data, and gross-up calculations.
    • Collaborate with Corporate Accounting on reconciliations, credits, refunds, and financial close activities.
    • Contribute to the development and execution of financial and operational plans.
    • Maintain and enhance key process documentation, controls, and SSAE 18 compliance.
    • Recommend and implement process improvements that support scalable growth and financial transparency.

Qualifications

What You'll Need:

 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. CPA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or relocation industry roles.
  • Demonstrated success in managing global teams, vendors, and high-volume billing environments.
  • Strong understanding of tax assistance (gross-up), payroll integration, accounts payable/receivable, and audit processes.
  • Experience with GROW (Equus), Smartsheet, and Microsoft Excel; strong systems orientation required.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—able to partner cross-functionally with operations, sales, and clients.
  • Confident leadership style with coaching experience and performance accountability mindset.
